The youth/mentee will undergo various assessment in order to determine which individual will be best matched to their specific need. The youth will also learn skills necessary for entry into the workforce such as resume writing, time management and conflict resolution. The mentee will shadow their mentor at his/her place of employment in hopes of gaining better knowledge of the profession. The mentee will be advised by the mentor on things like educational requirements for the profession, internships if available, and any information needed to complete career goals. |
